Sean opened Arrows and Embers in early 2010 and has been serving the New England area and beyond ever since. He has always resonated with illustration and creativity, and knew he wanted to be a tattoo artist – even from a very young age. While Sean loves tattoos of all kinds, his favorite pieces always tell a story. Although his clients give him artistic liberty due to his experience and expansive portfolio, he loves helping others tell their stories; no matter how big or small, grand or simple, he’s here to help people express themselves. He finds the tattoo process extremely fulfilling and loves every dimension of tattooing. From deep-diving into and geeking out over the science behind tattooing, to symbolism, mechanics, art theory, psychology of design, and the theology of meaning behind every piece, there is always more to explore and more growth to embrace – in his words “its an absolute blessing.”

When Sean’s not tattooing, he’s immersed in other creative projects and or researching the next one.
